The Christchurch Symphony Foundation is the resource which provides a secure long term financial platform for your orchestra.
Created as a separate charity in 1994, the Foundation is building a Capital Fund to ensure the longevity of an international standard orchestra, here in the South Island, for the enjoyment of future generations.
The Foundation Board operates totally independently of the Christchurch Symphony Trust which governs the day to day operations of the orchestra.

Gifts to the Foundation, large or small and whether cash gifts or loans, endowments or legacies can ALL make a strategic difference to the long term survival of Christchurch Symphony Orchestra.
Anyone can make a lasting gift of music that lives on in perpetuity.
Current projects are all future focussed and include
- Building a Capital Fund for the future.
- Establishing a permanent home for the orchestra.
- Strengthening the Instrument Fund to purchase much needed instruments.
